RE: Feral Cats
Just one, a dog!! But most parks want to limit dogs because of the "damage" they do, our's tried it a few years back. Guess what, the damage didn't stop! The cats do more damage than the dogs ever thought of doing. Don't get me wrong ANY pet requires a responsible owner, THAT is where the ...

RE: peaked roof building?
I would think that since the park is requiring the roof that the park is also assuming liability for any damage steming from it. I would contact the proper state agency or lawyer. Greg

One thing you need to remember, our homes are a lot tougher than they seem at times. How many stick built homes could survive a 65 mph wind, let alone going down a road at 65 MPH. Try and calm down, as the others have said I doubt that your home is in danger of collapse. Greg

Steven, Mark's book is written in a genaric form, It is not geared towards any year or make. As hvac said it is based on what Mark sees every day. Well worth the cost. Greg

Many full survice hardware stores have screen service avalable. If you make a cardboard template with the crank hole location for them they may be able to make one for you. Greg

RE: Re level Advice...Please
Hi & welcome to the family. As you know our homes do in fact move with the seasons and the will settle some. the first thing you may want to do is read Mark's book. It covers about any problem you will encounter as a mobile owner. Have a few mobile home people look at it and give you quotes. Pri...

RE: space between house and garage
If nothing else you could build a "stand alone" structure between the the two. Just sink poles similar to a pole barn and frame it the same way. that would allow the home to move with the frost if it needs to without doing damage. Greg

Lowes has a caulk tool, it looks like a triangular rubber squeege that smoots the bead after you put it down. Greg

RE: repairing or replacing Pex water lines
Mist, the hardest part of working with PEX is the connectors. There are a few schools of thoughts, some prefer the crimp type connectors, They require a crimp tool. Others prefer the compression type connector, they have been known to come apart if not put together just right resulting is a leak (us...

RE: Concrete counter tops
Yanita, I am not sure how thick of a top you were thinking about so I would not even try to guess the weight, I DO know that our old counter (the first one I tiled) was HEAVY, I had my hands full with a 4' section. I have seen pictures of installed poured tops and I almost question if it is a DYI jo...
