Re: Converting a Single Wide Classroom into a Home
It is for the home only. We plan to move it to a park to pay off the small loan we would have to get and then find land to put it on. We have been able to find a few homes already in a park but they are above 20k. We are still continuing to search though.

Re: Converting a Single Wide Classroom into a Home
Greg we would be doing all the work ourselves. That is what I was figuring it would cost. The cost of the classroom is about $10,000 also. We are still looking and hoping to find something that will work for us.

Re: Converting a Single Wide Classroom into a Home
We have looked and are continuing to look but the we haven't been able to find anything but a 12'x56' and that is just too small for our family. We are thinking about this long and hard before we make a decision because we want to stay within a certain budget...we want to be debt free within 5 years...

Re: Converting a Single Wide Classroom into a Home
That is what we are trying to decide. The classroom has two rooms and a bathroom with a sink and toliet. It also has a sink in the open classroom part. It has no washer and dryer hookups. The price of the trailer is a little more than what we want to pay, however it does have the AC vents in the cei...

RE: curtain rod on mobile home door
I would suggest using one of those rods that are magnetic. If it will stick to your door that is. My mother has one and it works great! Just a suggestion. I believe that you can get them at any Walmart. Hope this helps!

RE: Kitchen Lighting
Ok...well we went through the trouble of purchasing the bendable track lights, my husband put them up and we got everything pointed in the right direction and we turned it on! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! The lights are harsh as Yanita mentioned and also for as harsh as they are they don't put out a l...

RE: Kitchen Lighting
The only problem with changing the ceiling fan light fixture is the ceiling fan doesn't sit directly over our table and our kitchen table sits in a corner so the corner is still dark. We need some sort of lighting that will brighten up this corner.

We also have those! They are awesome and they do help you with a task that you are doing on the countertop! We are trying to find the right color and then we are going to give it a shot! My husband is also going to install a dimmer and that should help with the heat and also the electric bill!

RE: Kitchen Lighting
We have one in our living room. It is a three light track light but it isn't bendable or anything like that. The one that i am looking at is going to be 4 lights. Two spotlights and I would like to get two pendants to go over the table. I think I am going to go for it. We are in the kitchen a lot! W...

Kitchen Lighting
In our kitchen we have two lighting fixtures, one of them has a ceiling fan with a 60 watt light and the other is over the sink and it has a 60 watt light. Our kitchen is about 18'long so we are able to have a table in there. The lighting isn't enough! I don't want to lose the ceiling fan because wh...

Thanks! This information is very helpful. I think my husband wants to put a tubular skylight there but I am unsure of it right at this point. I know that we will be putting on in our bathroom but that is another forum and I will ask my questions on there. Thanks so much you don't know how helpful yo...
