Re: Odd Plumbing Problem

I ended up running a snake down the roof stacks. There didn't seem to be anything in them, but everything is back to normal. Thanks Greg.

Odd Plumbing Problem

The other nite the wife let the water out of the kitchen sink, and the water in the toilet bowl emptied. Last nite after the kid took a bath she drained the tub and the bowl emptied again. We have been here 22 years and this is a first. We are on a septic and it was pumped last year. Any Ideas?

"Northern Star" did it make a difference in the temperature in the crawlspace?
Are there a lot of fumes from the PL300 Foamboard Adhesive?

register filter

Has anyone used the register filters that are supposed to cut down on dust? They are rectangle and fit under the the register grill. On the package it says not to use them on every register or it may affect the air flow. They only cost a couple of dollars at Walmart so I might give them a try.

Roof on a Woodshed

I plan on building a wood shed with a corrugated metal roof. My question is do I need some sort of CDX plywood or osb under the metal. Or can I attatch the metal right to the rafters.

RE: Shutters - wood or vinyl ??

I had the same problem with the louvered type that came with the home. When I resided three years ago I went with the non louvered ones, and no more problems with wasps building nests behind them. Don't really know if wood will make any difference.

Stay away from the Magnavox. I got one as soon as they were available with the Gov coupon. Junk... The engineer at the local station was on tv and said they have had nothing but complaints, and you can't exchange then if bought with the coupon. I also have a Dish Network "DTV Pal" converte...
