Skirting
Fifth year in my single wide in a rural area. My first year, the cheap vinyl skirting bowed in and out leaving spaces for mice to get in and enough wind to freeze sewer pipes. I took the dealers advice and removed some of the top so they had room to move up and down. Helped a little but I still had ...

Re: range hood
OK. Got a great reply from ventline... Thank you for your email submitted through the Ventline website. Ventline does not offer a metal damper for our range hoods. As strange as it sounds, the manufactured housing industry needs to have vents that are not “air tight” in order to bring fresh air into...

range hood
I have a ventline range hood in the kitchen. They use foam dampers which I have replaced before. They get messed up fast. When the heat comes on, I can feel a lot of cold air pouring out of the hood. Windows
I had a window company come out to price some replacement windows. To my surprise, he told me that I should go to someone who sells mobile home windows. He stated that mobile homes shift with the seasons and a standard house window would have problems with the movement. Any truth to this?

Kinro window
I have a single hung Kinro window that has a crack in the upper pane. The bottom window can be removed easily, but I wonder if and how to remove the upper window so I can get it repaired. I have searched the internet for an hour and there is nothing about removing the upper window. Is there a way or...
