I have a rack on rollers right next to...

Re: OLD METAL SIDING
Thank you for getting back to me so fast. I was hoping i could seal the seam up for that very reason of heat and air loss along with the insects. I guess when i redo the walls i could put a vapor barrier between the metal and the insulation then that should take care of the moisture issue i would th...

Re: Releveling questions
Hi Bomberman, I would say yes those damaged wedges need to be replaced with new. When we had our home leveled i was able to watch them. It took them a while to make sure everything was leveled and they used a water level. A metal level will not give you a true reading. Under my home they put a large...

Re: Keeping old siding- let the sunshine in?
The problem we ran into was the wasps, they were going in between the metal, insulation and drywall. When we removed the very thin drywall and insulation we had so many dead spiders, warp nests, dead wasps, Asian beetles, mud dabbers and there nests. Thank goodness when we did this the wasps either ...

Re: Members what do you do to your waterlines in winter
They did replace my cpvc water lines with pex after i had to fight with the insurance company and I'm glad i pursued it. I'm also glad we have a forum like this to ask questions and get good answers for the things we may not be aware of or don't know how to fix it, change it or correct it. What one ...
