RE: The librarian just dissed me!
You know, I just realized I posted the wrong name, and I don't know why. It's Crestwood Estates, not Crestview. A co-worker of my ex-husband's used to live on Crestview Drive, though.

Hubby said that it could be the mounts too. It hasn't done it anymore though.

RE: MH in park vs move to private land
We own our mh but rent in a mh park. It's a nice park. I believe our lot is a half-acre. We live in the back of the park where we only have neighbors to the sides of us and across the road. We have woods abutting our back yard. Sometimes see wildlife. There is also a community tornado shelter. Our c...

Need a good car repair forum
I need a link to a good car repair forum. I did a search, but couldn't find what I wanted, and quite a few even asked for money first. I have a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 3.8 liter engine. I made a uturn today and it went into neutral gear. I shifted and put back into drive and then it went back into...

Holes in floors
Our mobile home is a 1982 Horton. It had the pipes that were involved in the class action lawsuit. At the time, we hadn't lived here long and had no idea how big the problem was. We got part of the settlement and did nothing with it. Our home now has several holes in the floors that will eventually ...

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
There was a short in one of the heat strips. He said there was an extremely low risk of fire, nothing to worry about. Precautions are built in. We would rather be safe than sorry. Thanks, again.

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
It is fixed now, thank goodness! The hvac tech came out and had it fixed in about 15-20 minutes. He said something about heat strips. Not sure, but happy it's fixed. Was only $95.
Thanks for all your help! Appreciate it!

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
The electrician did not come back. He had to go out of town unexpectedly. He recommended a guy he knows, a hvac tech. I finally got a hold of him and he says he'll be out tomorrow afternoon. The electrician (my husband's old boss) told him the situation. The hvac guy says he knows exactly what it is...

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. The furnace runs normally when the breaker is on. When it gets to where the thermostat is set, it comes on and works normally, with the blower motor running, I assume. When it is off, the blower motor does not run. It clicks, and the furnace stays warm. We...

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
As long as the breaker is on, it clicks. We just turned it back on because it's supposed to get cold tonight. It is back to clicking. Hubby is worried it could catch on fire or start a fire. I'm willing to sleep in the cold. Should we turn the breaker back off or not worry about it? I'd rather have ...

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
It did still click while the electrician had the thermostat disconnected. He came back today to see exactly what is going on. He said it's the relay getting stuck. He's going to buy the part and put it on sometime tomorrow (I hope!) Hopefully, it will be fixed tomorrow.

RE: Intertherm furnace making clicking sound
We let the furnace run last night. It still heats fine. Now Hubby says he's concerned it could start a fire or catch on fire. Is this really a concern? It feels warm to the touch when it is off and clicking, but not hot. He wants to keep the breaker off during the day when it is warm, but we are sti...
