This the view of our heating duct from the register opening in our spare bedroom. Does it look like this is the crossover attachment point? There is never any warm air coming from this vent and i am trying to figure out why. The other registers all look like the regular heat vent not the flex ones. ...

So the metal piece is right inline with the wall so i would do the 1/4 on the other parts of the wall then for in front of the metal piece, i would cut out 1/4 plus more for the tracking system. then just install the transition in that?

the jam picture is the front door bottom. right now carpet just goes right up to the metal. We never use that door really, but i want to do it right for resale down the road.

Thats what i figured. so really just have to yank out the tub and see where we are at then. i want the tub out anyways. will the wall need to come down too or just yank the tub then remove flooring from under wall the slide plywood down and under wall?

We have an 1986 doublewide and one spot in our floor in our master bathroom is starting to cave, i believe its from a leak in the shower so we have stopped using that shower but the floor under the corner of shower is squishy and seems to be giving away. Is it possible to install a standup ac unit with the window vent in basic mobile home windows. not stick built house windows but just the sliders?
