ice damming = roof leak
this is sort of a continuation of this thread I started back in dec -I've reasoned it down to having to be ice damming up the water thats trying to move downward but is heading back under the shingle and finding a way down my walls /celiling https://www.mobilehomerepair.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=458...

The other thing that may help is to remove any snow from the area with a roof rake if you haven't already. Greg dang , I had one of those at my past residence and the buyer asked me if I could let him have it as part of the sale I have 3-4 days off now so I'll probably get my butt up on the roof an...

Re: RE: ceiling stains accumulating
Could also be condensation......... if there isn't adequate insulation between the ceiling and roof, or a draft causing frost buildup like you speak of......... Later! I'd like to think thats what is happening condensation turining into frost on the inner roof melting now that its warmed up to 0 ce...

well, I wont really be able to do anything about any loose shingles until the spring if thats the case -however , like I say -the shingles are in great shape I have a gut feeling theres just some frost build up on the underside of the roof (between the ceiling /roof)which is melting after being extr...

enough juice ?
the former owner of my sw had an 8 foot baseboard heater in the kitchen and a 4 ft in the bathroom --both hard wired by an electrician directly to the 200 amp box he told us he installed them as a backup in case the electric forced air furnace ever went out on him he'd at least be able to keep reaso...

I'm probably 5-7 years away from wanting to get new windows /siding job done my biggest worry is the contractor coming across unforseen problems like mold/dry rot p.s --good luck with your siding job beth -please post some befor...
