Defineately a bad idea to overkill like that.
Boric acid? You'd have to either ingest it or absorb a whole lot of it thru your skin. Either way it is basically harmless to humans.
In the future set off a few insect bombs under the house. Works for me.
Good luck

RE: What is the lifespan of a mobile home?
My Newport was built in 1976. The mobilehome repair guy that does the work that I'm not comfortable doing myself tells me that he does a lot more work on newer mobilehomes due to poor materials and workmanship than the older ones. He has told me that my home is stucturally good and from what I've se...

RE: Painting over wallpaper and wallboard?
Hey Kristi
Here's an example. Like Yanita said-
I used Kilz primer and Kilz paint-one coat each-to cover this hideous wallpaper in my kitchen.
Good luck.

RE: Shower head for low water pressure
Hey Mark I know about that old water pressure dilimma. When I first moved in my place I thought I was doomed to taking trickling showers. I bought a cheapo shower head at Walmart and still not much better. Finally got agitated enough and bought a good shower head and as you say "the difference ...

RE: Would Like To Move Water Heater Tank Outside of Home
Hey Oldtrux Not wanting to be a wisea_ _ but I do believe if my WH was 22 years old I would definately dig up the cash to replace it whether inside or out. Mine is electric and inside the master bedroom closet (in a closet of its own)off to the side. If it ever did leak I think the damage would be m...

Turning furnace off
This will probally (hopefully) be answered by Robert or hvac. I heat with fuel oil. Hopefully it will soon be time to not heat. Should I turn the breaker off for the summer? How about emergency switch? Or just the thermostat? Or nothing? Last year I think I turned just the thermostat off. Just wonde...

RE: Park Living PRO's & CON's
I would inspect the park and even talk to a few residents. Due to the deal I got on my home I moved into a junky park. The roads are terrible and management won't do anything. Some people keep their places real nice and some the skirting is blowing off, trash laying around, etc. I would have not mov...

Window Caulk
I have to replace a awning window. What, from anyones experience, would be a good caulk to hold it in place and seal it?
All I have to do is slide the new glass into the existing frame. Just want to make sure it doesn't fall out.
Thanks

RE: shower nozzle problem
Unfortunately you will probally have to shut your water off, disconnect the present shower spout, and install a new threaded one. Sounds like someone bubba rigged it before. I personally in my years of haunting hardware stores have never seen anything that will go onto an unthreaded pipe. Good luck ...
