WOW! I was thinking it looked pretty good in the BEFORE pics, but the AFTER is fantabulous!! On a side note, I just returned yesterday from visiting my daughter in Texas. Wish it was closer to N.C. I love it!!!

RE: WOOHOO, ReStore!!!
Oh, I learned the hard way to carry a tape measure in my purse. We won't discuss the all wood, solid as a rock, one piece, twin bed with the storage drawers underneath, which I bought for my grandson in another state, BEFORE I realized that it wouldn't make the turn to go down the hallway and ...

They ARE great, aren't they? It's like a treasure hunt every time I go. Ours had an entertainment center that I wanted sooo badly, for only $60., but it was too wide for my space. Win some, lose some. ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

RE: PICTURES**Can this bath tub be PAINTED?
I know there are kits for refinishing bath tubs, but I DON'T know how effective they are. Have you tried getting a few estimates for professional resurfacing or talking to someone at Lowe's or Home Depot who might know something about the kits? note: I see you are in San Marcos. When visiting my dau...

RE: procedure for color washing beadboard?
Hi Mike, I nearly fell out of my chair as I was reading your post and scrolled down to see my beadboard wall. This was a look that I copied from an Italian restaurant, that was made to look rustic and Old World. The other part of mykitchen was textured with joint compound, and painted and glazed. In...

What a transformation
That looks so cheerful now, and really sets off your accessories. Big pat on the back
Yanita, I would love to see the things you have done. Got pics? I'm in a slump right now, and need inspiration to get moving again.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

It's been my experience that the compound soaks up paint, so priming first is a good idea.

Thanks Yanita, I just did. Made hubby look too.
Incredible work, especially the stone fireplace, the wood floor, the tile, oh well, might as well say the whole thing.
