They also have a misting or atomizing type humidifier that simply sprays a fine stream of water into the supply duct. After much contemplation, I on ...

Re: Deck post suggestion (to bury or not to bury...)
Completed this 3 days ago. Believe it or not, it took 7 days  to build this thing with my wife helping about half that time! Rest of the time I was solo. Thanks for the suggestions on the coupons again, the post office didn't hesitate handing me a couple at a time. Total cost for this was abo...

Re: Acrylic kitchen sink?

I think the only endearing quality about it though is that it is quiet and not tingy. That's our only dislike really about metal sinks though you can pay ...

Re: Interthetm E3 series. No a/c power. Help to find transfo
Were you able to get your unit running?
Since the capacitance you measured was within spec, did it turn out to be the fan motor itself?

Also: for peace of mind. I used a crimp fitting that has the plastic collar at the end where the factory terminals are all metal. Basically you're normal electrical connector. Any issues? I don't think there should be issues, but I would personally replace the connector again and solder it to the w...

Re: Intertherm making weird noise
Do you have your thermostat set very low at night when it comes on at 2-3am? Once the home/unit starts heating up is when the noise subsides? Turn the fan to ON at the thermostat and see if the noise happens without the heat being activated. Of course, it sounds like you need to be up at 2-3am to ch...

If you have a pet bird, I'd be afraid of the fumes killing it, but everyone else has given you good advice.

Re: shifting house/splitting in half....
I'm sorry to hear about your ordeal. It is my understanding that an artesian well is one that flows to the surface under it's own pressure because of the force of the rock surrounding it. If this is the case for you, are you saying that the neighbors have a well that is flowing constantly onto the g...
