Bathtub Repair Kit

SORRY - THIS PRODUCT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE
bathtub repair kit The complete fiberglass/epoxy patch kit to repair damaged and leaking bath and tub fixtures. For use on plastic, fiberglass and ceramic. Repairs small holes or cracks up to 5" in length, in less than 20 minutes. Multiple kits may be combined for larger repairs.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Prepare surface by removing all dirt, grease, tar, oil etc. Sand one inch beyond the damaged area with enclosed sandpaper.
  2. For cracks that may continue to creep, drill a small hole at both ends.
  3. Cut fiberglass cloth to cover damage.
  4. Mix epoxy and dispense 1/2 of the mixture onto the damaged area.
  5. Place the fiberglass over damaged area.
  6. Spread the remaining mixture over the fiberglass until completely saturated.
  7. Taper the edges of the repair area beyond the fiberglass. Repair is now complete and fixture may be used after 20 minutes or when repair is tack free.

Repair must be completed in less than 6 to 8 minutes before mixture starts to harden.

Notes: Repair is not seamless and will be noticeable although choosing the right color will help it blend. The success of this product on cracked tubs and shower floors will be greater if the area is braced so movement during use is minimal. No guarantee stated or implied.
